What type of adventures can we offer? During the summer season, there is an abundance of birds on the island. For those interested in flowers, the latter part of July will provide an unforgettable experience in both variation and colours. Furthermore, we can tempt you with the midnight sun and white beaches, vast cloudberry marshes and many good lakes for fishing for those who want to hike. The terrain is easily accessible because of its similarity to the mountain plateaus of southern Norway. The autumn is the hunting season. The island is rich in goose, duck, cormorant, hare and grouse. If you do not want to hunt yourself, you can accompany a hunter and see how it is done. There are boats for hire for those who wish to try their luck fishing the open sea. A catch is guaranteed. The fish can be prepared in a separate barbecue cabin which seats 17 people. Maybe you want to go diving for sea urchins, found in abundance around the island. In the winter, how about eating the roe under the northern light? We can offer a wood-fired sauna. |
